Testing/QA is the most important activity in Software Development Life Cycle to ensure the Software and/or Hardware works as expected. This presentation will provide insights about Linux testing(at IBM) on OpenPower boxes, introduce various test suites used by IBM Linux on POWER functional test teams to validate Linux(avocado), KVM(tp-qemu, tp-libvirt), I/O(avocado) and OPAL(op-test). These test cases/test suites are available in open source projects and can be used by various OpenPower partners for Linux validation. This presentation will also share how OpenPower partners can use these tests and also contribute to it.
