Erwin de Haan is an MSc student of Computer Engineering and Embedded Systems at the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, where he received his BSc degree in Electrical Engineering in 2016. He was a research intern at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan in 2018. Erwin also works as an independent IT consultant for a number of companies.

Erwin has given many talks both within and out side the university. Examples include university seminars and presentations. He also gave a presentation at the SWoPP 2018 workshop, Kumamoto, Japan titled: "Towards Accelerating Deep Neural Network Training on FPGAs: Facilitating the Use of Variable Precision". He also regularly presents on IT projects to customers.
