J is a Systems Engineer and Professional Dilettante who is currently employed at a large Australian Financial Institution. They've lived in Sydney for the past four years and prior to that they worked at a number of start-ups in San Francisco over six years, transitioning from Community Technical Engineer and Assistance to Head of Systems Operations during that period.

They've been active in the OpenPOWER community for the last year and half - intrigued by Raptor Computing System's announcement of a fully owner controllable POWER9 system. Interested in the engineering mechanics of privacy, they work towards a world where everyone has the language and power they need to express and confidently delegate the trust they place in their computing systems and technologies.
